What are dental Implants?
Dental implants are artificial tooth root that is fixed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth , bridge or even a complete denture. Dental implants have been considered by dental experts a s the most effective dental solution that can replace the missing teeth. This cabe be done without affecting adjacent teeth, and eliminate the need for a partial/removable denture. Our dental implants are considered to be effective, safe and comfortable. The dental implant are made of pure titanium, that is totally biocompatible, and integrates with the surrounding bone and becomes part of the body.
Dental implants are the best option for the individuals of all ages in good oral health who have lost one or more teeth due to trauma or gum disease. Patients with good bone support and healthy gums can be considered for dental implant treatment. Individuals with certain medical illness – diabetes, heart disease, chronic smokers, alcohol abuse need to be monitored before the treatment. After careful evaluation, our specialists will advise the best option suitable for you.
Absolutely No! Age is not a limiting factor for implant treatment.
• Restore your natural smile
• Ability to chew and speak naturally
• Preserve the remaining jaw bone area.
At your initial consultation, the dental implantologist will clearly assess and provide your course of treatment. Our dental implantologist who is specially trained for this plans the treatment based on your needs.
Next, the implant is placed, covered with gum tissue and protective cover screw. After the healing takes place (usually around 6 months later), your implantologist will uncover the implant and fix the abutment on the top. A temporary crown will then be placed, allowing the gum to position naturally around the tooth. This is followed by fixing your permanent crown.
Regular check ups every 6 months is advised.
Dental implants are placed using local anaesthesia and during the procedures patients are usually comfortable or at ease.
