Dr Joseph K Thanikunnel
Dr Joseph K Thanikunnel, the clinical coordinator of Dental Square and a registered orthodontist, has been exclusively trained in the correction of crowded teeth with braces, palate and jaw positions, growth pattern in the face, speech and related medical issues.
He started his practice with a desire to work in an ambience, where he could spent time to get to know each patients dental problem. Dr Joseph qualified his bachelors from MGR University, Chennai and post graduation from Annamalai University, Chindambaram. He’s registered with Indian Dental Association and Indian Orthodontic society. He underwent training in mini implants from Chennai, India in 2009. He has vast knowledge and clinical experience in treating children, adolescents and adult patients to the highest standards, using the latest technologies and to achieve excellent aesthetic results with long term stability and success. Dr Joseph also has wide article publications in national journals.
He practices numerous straightening systems such as Metal braces, Tooth coloured/porcelain braces, braces behind the teeth (Lingual braces), Invisalign or clear braces.
At present, Dr.Joseph is affiliated to Malankara Orthodox Syrian Christian Mission Hospital, Kolenchery as Consultant Orthodontist.
Dr Anjum Anna Varughese
Dr Anjum Anna Varughese, a registered consultant and specialist endodontist deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the tooth in adults and children.
She graduated with BDS from MGR university, Chennai and practised for few years in dental academics and clinics. Later, she undertook post graduation from Saveetha University, Chennai. She has also attained membership with Federation of Operative Dentistry of India and Indian Dental Association. Dr Anjum has taken numerous continuing education hours on the clinical aspect of dentistry and still continues in order to stay up to date on the latest techniques.
Making dentistry comfortable for the patients has always been her priority. Her knowledge and advancements in diagnosis and treatment modalities of root canal related circumstances has enabled her to be an enthusiastic endodontic specialist. She also has keen interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, which has enabled many of the patients to accomplish the ‘perfect smile’. She works in Dental Square and enjoys managing complex multidisciplinary and cosmetic cases often involving complex reconstruction or replacement of teeth by crowns, bridges, precision attachments or any appropriate prosthetic rehabilitations.
Dr Anjum has also tremendous interest in practising general dentistry of adults and children. At present , she is affiliated to Malankara Orthodox Syrian Christian Mission Hospital, Kolenchery as Consultant Endodontist.
